Avery and Dawson were separated at a young age due to the divorce of their parents. Dawson has Autumn, an 18-year old tomboy who is determined to be the freshman on her college’s cross-country team. Norah, 36 years old, who is determined to care for everyone even if it means neglecting her own needs.
