Although I don’t like incest as an idea, this game is different than most. Dating My Daughter is a visual novel-style game. There’s a lot, and I mean a lot, of text. You haven’t seen your daughter in a while and she now wants to see you (yes, this is all she has to do) on a series daddy-daughter dates to get to know you better. Although you can see the entire thing from a distance, the game attempts to create a “we know this was wrong, but we cannot help it” vibe. This is not meant to make you feel better about your actions. It is my experience that the daughter peruses the relationship. However, I felt it was completely wrong at the end.
Although I don’t agree with the Dating My Daughter story, I can tell you that the character models are wonderful. She has two friends, and she is not the only one who wants to be with you. This was the most enjoyable part of the game. I think this is due to the excellent character models. You are working towards friendship and relationships points through the choices that you make. You can lose a point by staring at her stomach, but asking the right questions could help you gain more points. The gameplay isn’t that important. It’s more about trying to figure out what she wants and how you can help her. This is just the beginning of this story, and it’s not over yet. Perhaps the story could take a different path?
Gameplay:
You will have to make choices between two or three decisions that will affect the outcome of the date or the main story.
At the moment, there are two stats in the game: Love and Friendship. They are located in the upper right corner of your screen. You will lose or win a point for each choice you make. Sometimes, more than one depending on which decision you make. If you decide to stare at your daughter’s genitals and she catches it, you will lose 1 friendship point. To advance in the game, you’ll need to earn a certain number of points. You will have to try again if you fail.
