Honeypot is an interactive, immersive branching visual novel with hand-drawn artwork. It takes place in the near future and will be completed in January 2025. As old alliances and institutions crumble, the world is at a crossroads. A new third party candidate, unknown to the public, has been elected President of the United States. The world now awaits America’s response to the crisis. As international organizations struggle to cope with the crisis, criminal gangs are flourishing and underground organisations are flourishing. Agents and spies can be found once more trading secrets and fighting backstreet battles from Tangiers to Tokyo. You start the game as an average girl. You work at a coffee shop and have a boyfriend. A chance meeting will change everything. It will open the doors to a life full of danger, glamour, and love. To survive and thrive, you will need to use your mind and body. You will also have the opportunity to make a difference in the world. Will you be loyal to your country, your family and your friends? Will you succumb to the lure of wealth and power? Will you be tempted by wealth or power? Or will your deepest and most darkest desires be satisfied?
