Mind over Matter is about a man (or woman) who gains special powers and attempts to control, corrupt and transform other people to his advantage. Synopsis of the Plot Your name is Jack Harding or Amy Harding if you’re a female. You are 32 years old and your life could not be more miserable. Your boring job is not going well lately. You don’t have a girlfriend and live in an apartment on the poor side of town. You’ve been threatened with firing if your sales don’t increase within 30 days. You are dejected by the news and make your way home. You arrive at your apartment door and a strange looking woman approaches you. This causes all sorts of images to run through your head. You are soon overwhelmed and your entire world is gone. You wake up the next morning feeling like nothing had happened. You get ready for work, and you leave your apartment as soon as you see your neighbor getting into her car. You greet her like you always do with a “Good morning!” You are ignored by her, just like every other day. Then, suddenly, you hear another: “Why does this creep greet my every morning?” He can’t see that I don’t want to have anything to do? This is where it came from.
